Since 1986, Mother Goose has been a shining star at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library System. She services the community and brings joy, comfort, and lots of smiles to story times at the library. Generation after generation has gathered on the library floor, learning numbers, manners, and confidence all under Mother Goose’s sunny and loving guidance.
Mother Goose Story Times
If you’re new around here, get ready to hear all about the legendary Mother Goose Story Times! Join the fun every Thursday - choose between two special sessions: 10:00am to 11:00am or 4:00pm to 4:30pm. Each story time is a unique adventure packed with songs, stories, and important life lessons perfect for kids ages 3 to 6.
Mother Goose Valentine's Day Tea Party
Every February, Mother Goose throws a fabulous Valentine’s Day Tea Party that’s simply unforgettable! Kids dress up in their fanciest clothes and join her for a magical tea party where they learn about table manners and kindness, all while enjoying sweet treats and lots of giggles.
